ii. They are used to keep a close check on whether or not things are going according to plan on the farm.
iii. They are used to make plans to modify farm needs, to know what yield to expect from crops and livestock etc.
iv. They tell a farmer how much he is earning
v. They tell a farmer whether to diversify his farming business or not
vi. They are useful for tax purpose
vii. They are useful in securing loans from banks.
