3. Reduces health hazard due to manual or over labour drudgery.
4. It supplements human power several folds for heavy duty jobs.

6. It encourages large scale farming
7. It promotes specialization of available man power.

The disadvantages of mechanization include the following:
1. Displacement of workers especially the unskilled labourers
2. Destruction of soil structure
3. It causes environmental pollution
4. Compaction of soil by heavy machines.
