Describe briefly five management methods adopted in the forest area to ensure continuous supply of timber

Forest regulations: these are laws promulgated by government as to the conservation or preservation of forest trees.

Selective exploration: this involves a situation where forest trees are not cut down at the same time. Mature trees are cut down first while the younger ones are allowed to mature before they are cut down.
Regeneration: this is the process in which trees which are cut down easily grow back or produce new ones.
Afforestation: this involves the growing of tree seedlings to make a forest. In this way, continuous timber supply is enhanced.
Prevention of bush burning: burning of bush should be prevented so that useful trees are not destroyed. Fire breaks should be established to prevent the spread of fire in the forest.
