Explain briefly four types of chemical weathering

Solution: this is when soluble rock dissolves completely in water resulting in the breaking of rocks into tiny pieces.

Carbonation: carbonation dissolves in water to form weak acid which can dissolve or break some rock.
Oxidation: this is the reaction of oxygen with certain rock minerals which result in breaking down the rock into tiny pieces.
Hydration: this is the attachment of water with rock minerals which result in alteration of the minerals.
