Overgrazing is the continuous
use of grassland for feeding livestock without allowing for regrowth of vegetation cover. It results in excessive removal of vegetation cover, this exposes top-soil to direct sunlight
-exposures to sunlight result in increased evaporation and changes in acidity and salinity
-Soil becomes prone to erosion
-erosion result in loss of agriculture land
-constant trampling of soil by feet of livestock results in the soil becoming hard packed; this causes soil aeration problems.
