Differentiate between legal sovereignty and political sovereignty

LEGAL SOVEREIGNTY: This resides in the law making body, usually
called the parliament. There is no legal limitations to the law making powers of the parliament. This is what is
known as parliamentary supremacy.

SOVEREIGNTY
: Political or popular sovereignty refers to the
supreme power of the people. It is the people or electorates that
vote people into political offices. They also
have power to vote them out of
office.
