i. Mass media: this involves reaching many people with extension, messages through publications, bulletins, leaflets, posters, cinema vans, radio, television, internet

ii. Individual method: this includes farm and home visits, office calls, telephone calls etc. and involves direct contact between the farmers and the extension agent.
iii. Group method: this method which involve a group of farmers include demonstration, group discussion etc. which are directed at teaching farmers new techniques of farming.
